Dr. Richard Everson is Lecturer at the School of Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics, University of Exeter, UK. His main research interests include pattern recognition, adaptive computing, quantitative analysis of brain function, numerical analysis, dynamical systems and chaos and application of dynamical systems techniques to biology.

Dr. Rasmussen is based at Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. He is the author of the famous book "Gaussian processes for machine learning" published by MIT press. His key interests are in probabilistic inference in machine learning, Gaussian processes and reinforcement learning.

Prof. Joseph Kittler is Professor of Computer Vision, Speech and Signal Processing at the School of Electronics and Physical Sciences, University of Surrey, UK. He has interests in Automatic Inspection, Remote Sensing, Robotics, Speech recognition, Character Recognition and Document Processing. He is also the coauthor of book “Pattern recognition: a statistical approach”, Prentice Hall.

Dr. Maneesha Singh is a Senior Research Fellow at Computer Science department, Loughborough University. She has research interests in the areas of pattern recognition and image processing. She has organised all of the past Pattern Recognition Summer Schools, and ICAPR/IWAPR conference series. She is a member of IEEE and an expert on use of imaging technologies for solving transportation applications.
