He has interests in Automatic Inspection, Remote Sensing, Robotics, Speech recognition, Character Recognition and Document Processing. He is also the coauthor of book “Pattern recognition: a statistical approach”, Prentice Hall.

Dr. Maneesha Singh is a Senior Research Fellow at Computer Science department, Loughborough University. She has research interests in the areas of pattern recognition and image processing. She has organised all of the past Pattern Recognition Summer Schools, and ICAPR/IWAPR conference series. She is a member of IEEE and an expert on use of imaging technologies for solving transportation applications.
